1. About Butter Language School

Butter Language School is an online English language school operated by Morgan Butterfield. Classes are delivered via video call (Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms). By using our website and services, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to book classes. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe. You must provide accurate information when registering. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

3. Class Bookings

  • Group classes can be booked using credits or purchased individually.
  • Private classes require a request that Morgan must approve before the booking is confirmed.
  • Sharing private classes: You may invite up to 4 friends to a private class. Guests do not need an account — they receive the meeting link by email.
  • All bookings are subject to availability.

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the class start time. If you cancel within this window, your credits will be returned. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class are not eligible for a credit refund.

5. Payments & Credits

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • Credit bundles expire 2 months from the date of purchase.
  • Group tokens are non-refundable.
  • Private tokens are refundable if the teacher cannot provide suitable availability within the 2-month window.
  • Students must provide at least 24 hours' notice to retain their token. Teachers must also provide at least 24 hours' notice for class cancellations.
  • Prices are displayed in US dollars (USD) and may change at any time. Existing purchased credits are not affected by price changes.

6. Class Conduct

We expect all students and guests to be respectful during classes. Disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the class and suspension of your account without a refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and class materials — is owned by Butter Language School and may not be copied, distributed, or used without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Butter Language School provides online classes on an “as is” basis. We are not liable for technical issues with video call platforms, internet connectivity problems, or any indirect damages arising from the use of our services.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
